Sometimes a return-to-work process gets stuck, or there is a need for a fresh, independent perspective. We offer support to both employees and employers to get the return-to-work process back on track.

1. Second Opinion (For the Employee)

As an employee, do you have doubts about the advice from your company’s occupational physician? For example, regarding your work capacity or the return-to-work plan? If so, you have a legal right to a second opinion from an independent occupational physician at another organization.

  • Goal: To review the occupational health advice in cases of doubt.
  • Right: Legally established in the Working Conditions Act.
  • Focus: Your personal recovery and work capacity.

2. Second Opinion (For the Employer)

Is your employee’s return-to-work process stalled, or are you, as an employer, wondering whether the current approach is still on the right track? An independent “Second Opinion” provides you, as an employer, with the certainty needed to manage absenteeism responsibly.

  • Result: Concrete advice to accelerate or adjust the reintegration process.
  • Goal: Gain insight into a stagnating case or obtain a second opinion at the employer’s request.
  • Focus: Is the reintegration file “UWV-compliant,” and is the employee’s capacity being utilized optimally?
